Businesses Management in a business is like the doctors of a hospital, without it there is no functioning. The importance if Business Management shouldn’t have to be explained to a businessman, everyone knows it’s the key to success, so why is it we still see failures all the time and it’s due to the lack of what we all know is vital to our businesses, say it with me everyone, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT.

Here’s why:

Associating abandonment with trust – trust is very important; you must be able to trust someone to let them handle your business with you, the mistake however that businessmen make is that when they find someone they trust to run their business for them they then abandon their responsibilities in business management. Remember this; if your business fails, you lose a business, your employee just loses a job – big difference. Always be a part of business management.

Stingy business management does not always save you money – Being practical is good, saving energy is good, not paying overtime and saving on necessities is a way to loose clients and employees and that’s bad for business.

Classic vs Modern – trying new things isn’t always a bad thing – If you’ve been running your business for many many years and like it just the way it is that’s perfectly fine, but trying new things that could boost sales is fine too. Business management is allowed to change for the better.

Modern vs Classic – new isn’t always the right choice! Take Gap for example, changing their classic logo was probably the biggest mistake they could have made. Some business management techniques are great just the way they are.

There is always room for improvement, even for you, don’t think otherwise – In business management, you’re looking to make things better, this includes the business itself, products, services, employees and also yourself.

Business management can’t be run without a mop – Some businessmen forget the basic because they’re so busy with everything else and this results in business failure – Monitoring, Organizing and Planning. It’s like food and water to us, it’s a business necessity.

Running a business can be extremely complicated, but not everything has to be that way. Avoiding mistakes with simple basic solutions can save a business; you just have to follow them.

Planning an event is so much harder than it’s portrayed to be. You’d think that making a few calls and setting the time, place and date is not so hard, then you have to think about the food, decorations, the people being invited, the drinks, the waiters and waitresses, uniforms, flowers, settings, music, DJ, songs and lots more. Still seem easy to you?

Whether you’re planning your first even or it’s something you’ve been doing for some time here are some event management tips to making sure that the event you plan is a success:

Event Management Tip 1: Always have the Budget settled before doing anything else. Knowing the budget is what you have to base everything on, otherwise you could end up overspending and having to cut costs here and there and all that could be messy. For just-in-case situations, you should also have a little amount kept aside or a small backup fee you could use.

Event Management Tip 2: Count the number of people. You can’t know how much of what to buy without knowing the number of people expected, and when you know that number, add some more. It’s better to have more available seats than to not have enough.

Event Management Tip 3: Give the service people the information they require. The people you hire are going to be leading the event; they should know who they’re serving, history of the company or information of the party hosts/celebrant. They should also know what they can and can’t do and if there will be special guests at the party choose who will be serving them.

Event Management Tip 4: Have a backup plan for EVERYTHING. Think about what if this happens, that happens, lights go out, it starts raining, the speakers/projector/mic stop working etc. Having a plan B is what can save the party.

Event Management Tip 5: Practice once the day before and then relax. Stressing yourself out and over thinking doesn’t necessarily help, it’s more likely to cause problems.

It’s not going to be easy, but it can be fun and challenging. Just keep in mind that mistakes can happen and all you need is a solution, with proper planning that should be quick and easy.

Some people think that telling you how to invest in real estate property is almost like going to a fortune teller and having your future told to you because you never know what will happen, and that’s absolutely right. Investing in anything is a gamble, but that doesn’t mean you can’t invest based on proper research, the good thing about investing in property is that you have choices.

Unlike investing in stocks, there are other things you can do with property like rent it out, upgrade it and sell it for more, dress it up or use it. This how to invest in real estate property guide will help you out in determining what to do, learn about and look for when investing in property.

•	Unless you know why, you can’t determine how to invest in real estate property. So are you investing to sell, rent out to pay off mortgage, rent then eventually use or buy and sell? Now after determining why you’re buying, how to invest in real estate property depends on why they’re selling.
•	Let’s say you’re buying a cheap property that’s being sold really low due to some rush and you plan on selling it immediately, in these cases be careful about knowing the exact reasons why. You may think it’s a great deal but if you don’t do the proper research you could end up with a house on the demolition list or that’s infested with mold or who knows what. Always know why and confirm it’s true.
•	If you really want to but don’t know how to invest in real estate property due to your being short on funds, look around for some real estate investment groups.
•	Look for the best location, best not being the most expensive. Research on areas that may be developing a lot and look at their prices, it’s common for extremely cheap properties to jump up in value due to development of its surroundings. If you’re looking for something for the family look into good neighborhoods or near great schools. If you’re just looking to make money then you might have to spend a ton on a condo with a great view then wait a few years for the value to go up, depends on what you’re looking to do with the place.
•	Lastly, knowing how to invest in real estate property comes hand in hand with knowing how you’re going to pay for it and how you’re going to take care of the payments needed after purchase. It’s best to have savings ready just in case, you won’t want to have to sell the place for less because you weren’t prepared financially

Do you day dream about the business of your dreams? You’re not the only one. Many people have dreams of the greatest business in the world but few get to really succeed and are left to the same desk job they’ve been at for years or the same job juggling they’ve been doing since they graduated. It doesn’t have to be that way; you just need the right tools and the money.

Yes, it’s all about the money. There is no way to start a profitable business without capital, simply no way. Getting money is easier for some than others, the rich and fortunate just need to write a check or call someone and the plan is on its way. For the rest though it’s a different and more complicated story, that’s why you need business funding ideas.
When you look for business funding ideas you won’t come up with many options to choose from. The main thing about looking for a business funding idea is finding a person, place or bank that will loan you money, invest in your business or become a partner. For all business funding ideas however the requirements are the same.

So if you’re looking to get your business funding idea working, here are some tips to remember and steps to follow:

Get a Business Plan ready – No mater how perfect and profitable everything seems in your head, that’s not where someone is going to look to find answers, it’s all in the plan. If you’re going to ask someone for money, they need to know what you plan to do, how you plan to do it and what you hope to accomplish or gain from it and that should be on paper not just in thought.

Create a budget – When someone asks you how much you’re going to need, the worst possible answer you could give will contain any of the following words: Maybe, Around, Approximately, I don’t know. If you’re not confident in the plan and you don’t know how much you need it could translate to “I might waste your money and need more later on”. No one wants that.

Prepare a speech and practice – simply put; you have to sell your idea because it won’t sell itself. Business Funding ideas can easily be found, but it’s the work you put into the idea that will get you what you need.

Women in Business are still unfortunately an unusual term to some countries. It’s not because of men, but because of the nation and government and the way the people were raised, seeing a woman working a “mans job” seems strange and wrong. Look at Saudi Arabia and the law prohibiting women from driving, in the eyes of the rest of the world that’s absolutely ridiculous, but to both men and women in their country it’s just the way life goes, forget about making a woman CEO. Luckily there are many women who prove that women not only can be, but ARE so much more than that.

Let’s take a look at some of the worlds most successful women in Business:

Indra Nooyi – She’s the Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo and has sales of over $40 billion.

Irene Rosenfeld – She’s the Chairman and CEO of Kraft Foods and her company has about $48 billion in revenue

Patricia Woertz – Chairman, President and CEO of Archer Daniels Midland otherwise known as ADM (also known because of the movie “The Informant’). In 2009 their stocks rose 13%.

Andre Jung – Chairman and CEO of Avon Products, and inspiration to all Avon women all over the world

Oprah – She’s Chairman of Harpo and OWN and has been the Queen of Talk for years. She maybe leaving the talk show but it’s certainly not the last we’ve heard of her.

Ginni Rometty – Currently Senior vice President, Group Executive and is in charge of Sales Marketing, and Strategy and also the lead candidate to become the next CEO of IBM

Sherilyn McCoy – Worldwide Chairman of Johnson & Johnson. She may have had a rough year but she’s not slowing down. They have 11 new drug filings planned over the next 13 years.

Melanie Healey – Group President in North America for Procter and Gamble, accounting for 42% of revenues.

Sheryl Sandberg – COO of Facebook, she’s played a key role in turning Facebook’s 500 million users into revenue.

Michelle Obama – she may not have won her title of First Lady by vote, but this Harvard Law graduate has started a campaign “Let’s Move” has gotten companies like Coca-Cola, Kellogg and General Mills to pledge to reduce the calorie content of their products by 2012.

Aside from them there are women like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Angelina who have not only become famous Stars but have also become successful business women and women who speak up to help people’s rights and are heard. Women now know only one direction – up.

Branding is something that you’re known for be it a symbol, your name, a phrase, your reputation or a particular product. One of the best examples of successful branding is Coke. There are many cola products, but Coke like another word for cola – and it’s not only in the United States, it’s pretty much everywhere in the world.

Just like Coke is the face of all Coca-Cola products, the slogan “Just do it” represents Nike; the bitten apple represents Apple; a big yellow M and red background is for McDonalds; a Yellow shell for Shell Gasoline and the list goes on. Branding is something that made these companies become what they are today, but being branded can also bring a company down if there is negative news or feedback involved.

Johnson and Johnson is known for many items, but in 2010 for a few months they suffered loss in sales for internal analgesics and on cough, cold and allergy drugs because they had a recall of some of their products. Gap had been known for their classic blue logo for years but then decided rebrand it into a sexier more modern version – change however is not always a good thing. Gap had been criticized, their new logo mocked and the online outrage was so loud, after one long week the company went back to their old logo.

Branding your business properly can get you consumer loyalty and that’s one of the most important accomplishments your business can have, the ability to get someone to buy again. To be able to do that you need good public relations, great customer service and be consistent. If KFC’s fried chicken was crispy one week and soggy the next people would not go back and Colonel Sanders wouldn’t have such a big smile on every bucket. So are you going to start Branding your business?
