Tamar Peters
Managing Director
Tamar has over 23 years experience in the events and business industry. Her years of consultancy and training in marketing, sales and business management have given her the opportunity to grow and develop many businesses in a variety of industries. She has successfully run two of her own businesses in consultancy and training and helped numerous corporate and small businesses to develop and grow by at least 70-100% within a few years.
Tamar is passionate about the self development and business industry and is a qualified NLP Master Practitioner, Performance Consultant and Coach through Chris Howard’s Academy of Wealth and Achievement. She has been on the Board of the Meetings Industry Association and a member of Meetings Professional International. Her passion to help others succeed through business management, personal and professional consultancy, mentoring, business development and promotion has driven her to work with some of the best hospitality businesses, self development and business speakers and mentors in the industry.
Tamar came to the UK from South Africa in 2001 after having started her first business when she was just 25 years old in the event management and consultancy industry. She successfully helped design and deliver over 400 events of different sizes and industries in 6 years including non-profit organisations, small and medium size business and government departments, as well as small business seminars. When she arrived in the UK she contracted to the Hilton Hotel Group, Baxterstorey and ExCel Exhibition and Conference Centre before starting up her own training and event management business, KinX Management in 2006. Over the next two years she helped launch and manage a large conference and events venue, Woodstock House, as well as offered training and consultancy to the hospitality industry through the BACD (British Association of Conference Destinations). In 2008 she was offered the opportunity to promote Christopher Howard in the UK through Think Big Education. She turned this business into what is now considered UK’s most successful and renowed personal development promotions and events company.
Tamar has recently gone back into her own business offering mentoring, business consultancy, speaker and event management and promotion and a variety of training and development courses and seminars to be held internationally. Tamar’s ability to build successful and long lasting relationships has been one of her key skills to building the network of contacts she has. She has the “knack” of quickly recognising opportunities and areas of development within businesses and loves the challenge of helping businesses grow and develop. Her drive, entrepreneurial skills and extensive experience in combination with her professional but honest and open positive communciation style, is what makes her unique in what she offers.

David Howard Baker
Chairman
David Baker has worked for many years for a variety of multi-national companies, in various roles including Divisional General Manager and Board Member. David then went on to starting up his own businesses taking up the position of Managing Director and then worked as Marketing Director in an import and distribution business until he retired. He has always been an entrepreneur having been a successful property and stocks investor.
In more recent years he was actively engaged in olive farming in S. Africa, before returning to his native England 4 years ago. He still invests in property and in the stock market and enjoys new opportunities. Looking for further challenges where his experience of marketing and business could be used, he recently joined in partnership to develop Top Speaker Events into being UK’s leading promoter and public events business.
